Dear School Board Member,

It is unconscionable that valid programs like the TAG are cut, that teaching positions are cut, while administrative positions(155 !) are not cut. Our mission is the children in this district, not administrators.

As a homeowner in the Madison school district, I am acutely aware that the educational quality of Hamilton and West High are going down. Considering the house prices and what kind of taxes we pay, it makes sense to compare with the Verona and Middleton schools. Don't assume that people employed by the university, say, don't see that, when they relocate to here. You
will have Madison real estate values going down, once the trend is recognized. Having a solid TAG offering, with accelerated classes in math and the sciences in middle school and high school, is an absolute must and not just for children of parents with an education. In fairness, it is for all children.

Thanks for your concern,

Gabi Meyer
