The district needs to cut $7.2 million dollars in spending from
the budget this year. Proposed
cuts include 2 TAG staffers (a reduction of 28.5%) which will
leave 5 TAG staff to meet the needs of an estimated 5000 high ability students,
the elimination of strings in the elementary schools, one psychologist/social
workers, and increases in class size.
